Security

At Smartpress LLC, protecting the data restaurants entrust to RestroPanel is a core part of how we build and operate the Service. This page outlines the key practices we follow to help keep your data safe.
Encryption in transit and at rest
All data sent to and from RestroPanel is encrypted using TLS 1.2+. Data stored in our databases and backups is encrypted at rest.
Access controls
Role-based permissions ensure staff only see the data relevant to their role. Internal access to production systems is restricted and logged.
Secure infrastructure
RestroPanel runs on reputable cloud infrastructure providers with industry-standard physical and network security controls.
Monitoring and logging
We monitor our systems for suspicious activity and maintain audit logs to help detect and respond to potential incidents quickly.
Vendor due diligence
Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Regular reviews
We periodically review our security practices and dependencies, and apply patches and updates in a timely manner.
Reporting a Vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in RestroPanel, please report it to us responsibly. We ask that you do not publicly disclose the issue until we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address it.
Contact us via our Contact page with details of the issue, and we will respond as quickly as possible.
Your Responsibilities
Security is a shared responsibility. We recommend using a strong, unique password for your RestroPanel account, enabling any available account protections, and limiting staff access to only what each team member needs.
For details on how we collect, use, and protect personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
